Danielle Waild, MSW, CSW
Counselor
Danielle is a Certified Social Worker dedicated to helping adults (18+) navigate mental health challenges, trauma, and recovery. She holds a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Kentucky, where she also earned a Military Behavioral Health Certificate. Additionally, she completed her Bachelor’s in Social Work at Western Kentucky University, obtaining certifications in Patient Navigation and Family Home Visiting. Danielle is currently under supervision to obtain her certification as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, further expanding her expertise in substance use and recovery support.

Danielle has a deep passion for working with individuals who have experienced trauma and PTSD. She is particularly interested in the mind-body connection, recognizing that trauma is not only stored in the brain but also within the body, influencing physical responses and overall well-being. She utilizes a holistic approach, integrating both cognitive and somatic techniques to support healing. Danielle incorporates breathwork, somatic body movement, fascia muscle release, and is Reiki (Level 2) certified to assist clients in regulating their nervous systems, helping them process emotions—both positive and challenging—more effectively.

Danielle has training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) through The EMDRIA Foundation and is also trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS). She believes that healing does not require eliminating difficult aspects of ourselves but rather understanding and integrating them in a way that promotes balance and resilience. Her clinical experience includes working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, attachment difficulties, low self-esteem, life transitions, stress, eating disorders, addiction, and those in substance recovery.

Danielle provides a supportive and compassionate environment where clients can explore their experiences, develop self-awareness, and implement meaningful changes. She is committed to walking alongside individuals on their healing journeys, helping them find clarity, emotional balance, and empowerment. Healing is a process, and Danielle is here to support you every step of the way.
